Quick Guide
While the full Manual explains each feature of the notation without requiring previous knowledge of music notation or theory, those who do have such knowledge (or don’t mind a steeper learning curve) might prefer to get a quick sense of how the system works by starting with this brief outline. The Quick Guide might also be useful for refreshing your memory after studying the other pages.
The examples in the Quick Guide are marked up with annotations in “call-out” boxes that briefly identify each feature of the notation and provide links to the full explanations on other pages.
